U.S. BC-1000 Back Pack Radio i.e. Transmitter/Receiver. Widely used in various theatres of operation these type of radios became iconic and was often refered to as ‘walkie talkie’.
The radio is in nice used although very good and complete condition. Complete with the OD carrying frame, earphones, antenna and webbing carrying case. With its original manual. Fitted with original data plate and clearly 1944 dated. The radio bears various other markings such as SC9336 (Signal Corps contract number), MFP (Moisture Fungis Proofed, to protect against moist) and MWO (Modification Work Orders). Bearing its original OD shade paint. A very complete and excellent condition U.S. BC-1000 (SCR-300) Back Pack Radio.
