U.S. (Airborne) BC-611 "Handie-Talkie" And CS157 Carrying Case - Nice Used Condition

Increasingly hard to find as a pair this U.S. (Airborne) BC-611 "Handie-Talkie" And CS157 Carrying Case.
The Radio Receiver and Transmitter BC-611-E, also known as 'Handie Talkie' is fitted with with original data plat. Makers marked "Electrical Research Laboratories" and dated January 1944. The radio shows some overall trace of use and age and some minor corosion in the interior. Overall the radio retains a fantastic patina. With the radio comes an original CS157 Carrying Case. The case is clearly marked "S.C. No. 2A389-157". Fitted with working zip and original carrying strap. Both radio and carrying case are in nice used condition and with great patina! Hard to upgrade as a pair.
