A textbook modification of a period M1943 trousers with rigger applied re-inforced pockets. The pockets would have been removed from another pair of trousers as the yellow stitching is still clearly visible on the pockets. There are now visible size markings yet would estimate a waist 34.Iconic for the Holland Campaign i.e. Market Garden and batlle of the Bulge as used by the 82Nd and 101st Airborne Division.
