British Army (Airborne) Wireless Set No. 18. The Wireless Set No. 18 was a High frequency (HF) portable man-pack radio transceiver used by the British Army throughout the war.
This particular Wireless Set No. 18 is in overall nice used condition. Fitted with serial plate on top of the radio and complete with canvas cover that often is damaged or removed. The radio is fitted with original carrying straps with various Z.A. markings.
The Set comes complete with original carrying frame, full complement of antenna rods, rain cover, headsets, Microphone, morse key in a Satchel bag. As well as an original manual.
Increasingly hard to find these days!
