British (Airborne) 1959 Pattern Denison Smock - Nice Used Condition

A nice used example of a British (Airborne) 1959 Pattern Denison Smock. The 1959 pattern was significantly modified in relation the war and post war patterns. The 59 Pattern was fitted with a full length zip and knitted wool cuffs, the flannel lining of the collar was changed from khaki to light green. The 1959 pattern became iconic as it was widely used in Norther Ireland (Operation Banner 1969 - 2007). The smock is in overall nice used condition with some rust on the buttons, yet with a full working zip. Fitted with original label and measuring a size 1. Makers marked Cookson & Clegg Ltd. Can be upgraded yet with a very nice patina!
